We are called to be good stewards of our environment.  Reasonable environmental regulation can peacefully co-exist with robust business, industrial, and agricultural sectors.  It is doubtful that North Carolina could retain its attractiveness to prospective businesses without meaningful environmental regulations in place and enforced.  As a state, we were blessed with clean air and bountiful clean water and we ought to leave it to future generations in better shape than we found it.
